Creating a Site
Creating a new bio-link page (site) in Aboutmii is quick and easy. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.
Access Your Dashboard
After logging in to your Aboutmii account, you'll see your dashboard. This is where you manage all your bio-link pages.
Create a New Site
To create a new site:
- Click the "Add new site" button (or card if you have no sites yet)
- A dialog will appear asking for a unique identifier
- Enter a unique name/identifier for your page (e.g., "john-doe", "my-fitness-page")
- Click "Check Availability" to verify the name is available
- If available, click "Continue" to proceed

Note: If you're on a Basic plan and already have one site, you'll need to upgrade to create additional sites.
Choosing a Site Identifier
Your site identifier becomes part of your page URL. For example, if you choose "john-doe", your page URL will be:

- Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
- Keep it short and memorable
- Use your name, brand, or a descriptive term
- Avoid special characters or spaces
- Make it easy to type and share

Once you've created your site, you'll be taken to the bio-link editor where you can:
- Add your profile information
- Connect social profiles
- Add services, gallery, FAQs, and more
- Configure advanced features (if on Pro plan)
Your Page URL
Your page will be immediately accessible at:
aboutmii.com/your-identifierIf you're on a Pro plan and set up a custom domain, your page will also be accessible at your custom domain.
Next Steps
After creating your site, you'll want to:
- Fill in your Profile Information
- Add your Social Profiles
- Set up your Services (if applicable)
- Configure Payment Buttons (Pro plans)
- Add a Booking Link (Pro plans)
- Set up Custom Domain (Pro plans)
Troubleshooting
Can't create a new site:
Check your plan limits. Basic plan users can only have 1 site. Upgrade to Business or Enterprise for more sites.
Identifier not available:
The identifier you chose is already taken. Try a different variation or add numbers/words to make it unique.
Site not appearing:
Refresh your dashboard. If it still doesn't appear, try logging out and back in.
Managing Multiple Sites
If you have multiple sites, you can:
- See all your sites on your dashboard
- Click "Edit site" to modify any site
- Click "Preview" to see how your site looks to visitors
- Each site is independent with its own content and settings
